MSI 近期針對 AMD 主機板晶片組，陸續推出多個系列微改款主機板，屬於價格導向定位的 MAG X870E Gaming Plus Max WiFi，改用銀白配色來吸引玩家目光。
MAG X870E Gaming Plus Max WiFi 是從 MAG X870E Gaming Plus WiFi 微改款而來，後者目前參考價格約 8,990 元，萬元有找但是規格配置相當到位。MAG X870E Gaming Plus Max WiFi 除了以銀白色粉墨登場，也導入 EZ PCIe Release 和 Direct OC 跳線器等設計，可預期價格會是相近。
MSI MAG X870E Gaming Plus Max WiFi 設計配置
就 MSI 產品規劃來說，MAG X870E Gaming Plus Max WiFi 使用 8 層印刷電路板，所謂的 DRPS 電源架構為 14 + 2 + 1 相。和更高定位產品相仿的規劃，關鍵差異在於 Vcore 所用功率級晶片為 60A 規格，至於散熱依慣例使用 7W/mK 導熱墊，搭配延伸成為 I/O 遮罩的加大散熱片。
產品型號之所以冠上 Max 字樣，意味加入 OC Engine 也就是額外的時脈產生器，得以獨立調整 BCLK 帶來更多超頻潛力。裝機時還能發現，新加入的 Direct OC 跳線器，帶來在作業系統內即時調整 BCLK 的可玩性。另一方面，BIOS 換用 64MB 容量製品，標榜可對應支援更多處理器與功能性。
在 UEFI BIOS 有著相對應的性能強化選項，Precision Boost Overdrive 得以自選強化效能、以溫度值作為標的，而使用 X3D 處理器可開啟 X3D Gaming Mode 選項。至於 Direct OC，能夠選擇 eCLK 同步或非同步模式、控制處理器或 SoC 等項目，然後在系統內即時點觸跳線器把玩。
4 組 DDR5 UDIMM 插槽的可玩性看來依舊，像是搭配 Ryzen 9000 系列處理器時，1DPC、1R 安裝條件可達 DDR5-8200+ MT/s。同樣的，UEFI BIOS 包含提供 Latency Killer、High Efficiency Mode 與 Memory Timing Preset，以及 Memory Try It! 等記憶體相關效能強化選項。
MAG X870E Gaming Plus Max WiFi 規劃提供 4 組 PCIe 插槽，為首的 PCIE_E1 支援至 PCIe 5.0 x16，除了使用 PCIe Steel Armor 強化插槽設計，還新導入 EZ PCIe Release 方便拆裝顯示卡。PCIe 6pin 輔助電源插座也沒短缺，這能讓高耗電量介面卡，獲得 2.5 倍瞬間峰值彈性空間或說備援。

儲存維持配置 4 組 SATA 6Gb/s 與 3 組 M.2 插槽，M.2 全都有配備散熱片與模組免工具拆裝設計，只是這等級產品自然不會出現散熱底板。除此之外，只有 M.2_1 結合 EZ M.2 Shield Frozr II 快拆散熱片，其餘 2 組依然沿用舊式 M.2 Shield Frozr，拆裝散熱片會需要出動螺絲起子。

EZ DIY 設計基本涵蓋預先安裝 I/O 擋板，也具有 Flash BIOS 與 Clear CMOS 按鈕，和高階產品相比只少了 Smart 按鈕。不過基於產品定位因素，MSI 原本就選擇簡化配置元素數量，像 USB4 只提供 1 埠好在有 USB 3.2 Gen 2×2，而 USB Type-A 有一半是 USB 2.0。

MSI 近來經常強調網路配置，賣點為傳輸速率規格超前部署，可以安然用個幾年。乙太網路使用 Realtek RTL8126 控制器，除了 2.5Gbps 更支援至 5Gbps，而 Wi-Fi 7 無線網路支援 2.4 / 5 / 6GHz 三頻、320MHz 頻寬、理論傳輸速率達 5.8Gbps，該模組是採用 MediaTek MT7927 方案。
無線網路也包含 EZ DIY 訴求，隨附可快速插拔 MSI EZ Antenna 天線，在軟體層另外有 MSI AI Lan Manager 軟體可以運用。至於內建音效僅只使用 Audio Boost 設計，這也是基於產品定位之故，實際以 Realtek ALC897 編解碼器作為基礎，搭配音效電容、隔離線路和降爆音等構成。
