Murthy Renduchintala 確定加入 Intel 擔任事業群總裁，負責領導 IoT 相關事業（Client and Internet of Things（IoT）Businesses and Systems Architecture Group, 客戶端暨物聯網與系統架構群）。
在 Intel，Murthy Renduchintala 將直接對 Brian Krzanich 報告，同時將會擁有四個工程團隊向他報告，其中包含 Amir Faintuch 的 platform engineering group、Kirk Skaugen 的 client computing group、Doug Davis 的 IoT group 和 Doug Fisher 的 software and services group。
從這樣的組織定位來看，Intel 對 Murthy Renduchintala 相當重視，同時未來火力也將集中在 IoT 市場。
