這一次 Founders Edition 的散熱器將維持與 GeForce RTX 30 系列相同。
還沒見到最有可能率先發表的 GeForce RTX 4090，但 GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition 顯示卡的照片倒是率先在網路上曝光。
Twitter 上 @KittyYYuko 丟出一張可能是 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition 的照片，從照片來看，這張 Founders Edition 雖然使用靜電袋包裝，但 PCIe 金手指部分卻沒有任何保護，推測它應該只是一個測試卡。
Founders Edition 上的 RTX 4080 字體與 RTX 3080 時期有些許差異，Videocardz 也針對文字進行比較，NVDIA 可能在 RTX 40 系列進行文字上的調整。
GeForce RTX 4080 採用 AD103 晶片，擁有 16GB GDDR6X 記憶體配置與 9728 CUDA Cores。
最新消息提到，NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 系列顯示卡預計在 9 月 20 日的 GTC 2022 活動上由創辦人黃仁勳揭曉，而預計 10 月份將可以見到其中一款顯示卡開賣。另一方面，消息來源也告知我們，GeForce RTX 4080 與 RTX 4070 目前 NVIDIA 規劃讓 AIC 從 10 月 10 日開始進入量產。
