GeForce RTX 40 系列沒有太大意外的話，應該就是 9 月 20 日發表。
NVIDIA 在台灣時間 8 月 25 日公佈 2022 財政年度第二季財報，實際情況如何，其實早前 NVIDIA 發出的預告大家都略知一二，就不用特別再去說明，然而大家應該更在乎的是究竟 NVIDIA 會何時發表新一代顯示卡。
我們相當清楚，最初傳出的時間點是落在 8 月底於德國科隆舉行得 Gamescom 電玩展上，畢竟過去 NVIDIA 曾在這裡發表過 GeForce GTX 20 系列，但這個時間點後來被否定，因為上市時間已經推遲至 10 月份。
跟著傳出 SIGGRAPH 2022 活動，然而作為一場專業繪圖應用的活動，發表 GeForce RTX 系列顯示卡是相當不合理的事情。
最新傳出的時間點則是 GTC 2022 活動上，畢竟作為 NVIDIA 大家長的老黃擁有獨立的 Keynote，且時間點落在 9 月 20 日，與早前傳出的 10 月開買時間順序相當吻合。

在法說會的最後，作為 NVIDIA 的大家長老黃似乎已經給出了一些「預告」，也就是 9 月 20 日舉行的 GTC 2022 Keynote 上，NVIDIA 接下來數月以及 2023 年的新架構將會為大家娓娓道來。
就我們所知道，GeForce RTX 部分就是 Ada Lovelace 架構，而 GeForce RTX 4090、RTX 4080 與 RTX 4070 的規格已經大致確認，跟著就是 NVIDIA 會為玩家們帶來什麼新技術，以及實際售價到底為何。
