USB Type-C 與 Quick Charge 技術又再度引發新一輪的討論…
近日,Google 工程師(Benson Leung)再度針對 HTC 10 與 LG G5 導入 Quick Charge 3.0 技術的 USB Type-C 連接埠輸出超過 USB-IF 標準 5V 提出問題,而 Qualcomm 針對此問題進行回應。
Qualcomm Quick Charge is designed to be connector-independent. It can be implemented in a device that supports a variety of connectors, including USB Type-A, USB micro, USB Type-C, and others. When an OEM chooses to implement Quick Charge into their device, they can configure the voltage to fit within the specifications of the USB Type-C standard. We have received no reports of user experience or device malfunction issues with or without USB Type-C connectors. 簡單來說,Qualcomm 的 Quick Charge 技術並沒有直接或間接違反 USB Type-C 規範,而且 Quick Charge 技術本身跟連接埠沒有任何相關,因為不只有 Type-C,甚至 micro USB 或 USB Type-A,它們都能導入 Qualcomm 的 Quick Charge 技術。
目前,Qualcomm 並沒有收到任何來自客戶體驗或者是設備出現故障的問題。
更值得注意的部分是,不論是智慧型手機本身,或者是充電器方面,都有 UL 或是 CE 認證。當然,在使用時仍需特別注意,盡量選擇原廠認證,或者是有一定知名度的產品,畢竟安全使用最為重要。
