AMD 會在美國時間 7 月 22 與 23 日舉行 Advancing AI 2026 活動，地點會在美國 San Francisco，而 AMD 技術長 Mark Papermaster 確認，AMD 會在 Advancing AI 2026 活動中揭露代號 Venice 的第 6 代 EPYC 處理器。
I’ll say for me, every enterprise conversation I’m having now, this comes up. Because enterprises have, you know, decades of running x86. They’re not going to move that install base. And what we’ve done at AMD, you know, since we launched the new Zen processor back in 2017. We’re now on our sixth.We’re now on our sixth generation. So, at our Advancing AI event on July 22nd and 23rd, we’re rolling out this new generation. You know, it continues the kind of leadership x86 CPU, but it’s designed in such a way that it matches what I just described a moment moment ago. It’s optimized forstandalone x86 traditional workloads.

實際上，AMD 已經多次預告會在 2026 年端出 Zen 6 處理器的 EPYC 處理器。
代號 Venice 的 Zen 6 處理器架構，第 6 代 AMD EPYC 處理器最高預計會提供 256 核心的選項；另一方面，代號 Venice 的第 6 代 AMD EPYC 處理器將會採用 TSMC 的 2nm 製程技術。
過去的經驗來看，AMD Advancing AI 活動專注在資料中心應用，因為我們不需要過於期待 AMD 會在這場活動揭露 Zen 6 處理器架構的 Ryzen 系列處理器資訊。如果沒有意外的話，Zen 6 處理器架構的新一代 AMD Ryzen 處理器推出時間會在 2027 下半年。
