2016 年之後，Raspberry 再推出新的開發板，但算是規格小幅升級版。
Raspberry Pi 新推出一款加入 5GHz Wi-Fi 以及 Bluetooth 4.2 的開發板，而它將稱為 Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+，售價部分為 35 美元。
這次 Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ 的 SoC 型號為 Broadcom BCM2837B0，屬於 1.4GHz 四核心 ARM Cortex-A53 處理器架構、Bluetooth 4.2 以及 Dual-band 802.11ac 無線網路；相較於 2016 年的 Raspberry Pi 3 Model B 的 1.2GHz 四核心、Bluetooth 4.1 以及 2.4GHz 802.11ac 無線網路，硬體規格都有著明顯提升。
